Building structures for refueling, commerce, and residency on a planet with so little land other than the jagged cliffs that jut out of the endless ocean at odd angles and intervals required some creative thinking. Near-constant massive storms and violent seas meant submergible stations became the go-to design, leading to the creation of huge habitats that breach the surface to briefly allow ships to dock before returning beneath the waves where the impacts of the high winds are diminished. Hoses and cables connected to central hubs of pumps and filters ensure a constant supply of oxygen and clean water inside the habitats, where artificial farms supply the residents with food and viewports provide ample views of the planet's exotic underwater wildlife.
